NewMactic Series 9000 Power Tong

NewMatic 9000 comprises of the Series 9000 Tong and the Series 9000 Torque/Turn Control System. The New NewMactic Series 9000 Tong is an upgrade to NewMatic Model 932 Tong with improved reliability and maintainability. It is now powered by a more powerful and advanced computer controlled hydraulic powered equipment for making up and breaking out pipes. Armed with a powerful hydraulic unit, it can deliver hefty torque of up to 36,000 ft-lbs. This versatile unit can accommodate small pipes of just 4.5-inch to big pipes of up to 16-inch. Making up of pipes can be performed in as little as 15 sec thereby boosting productivity several fold.

Coupled seamlessly with new NewMatic Model 932 series Computer Control systems, you can attain unprecedented quality control and safety standards. To achieve consistency and quality, the high speed Series 9000 Computer Control system ensures only the best torque is applied on every joint.

The entire making up process will be tracked and displayed graphically real-time. By analyzing the curve of torque build-up against turns, an operator can detect irregularities in joints such as oval pipes, thread defects, damaged shoulder etc.

Any flaws are detected early in the production process saving time, reducing costs and achieving a higher safety standard

NewMatic Model 9000 series Computer Control system uses the familiar Window interface. Technicians can learn to operate with the minimal training. Using a combination of mouse and keyboard for inputs, even a novice user can race through the program in seconds.
